Built by electricians, for electricians.
TradieTally is Australia's electrical estimating training platform. We're sparkies who built a real estimating system and teach it to other sparkies. That's the whole pitch.
The story
Jayson is a working Australian electrician who spent years watching mates undercharge themselves into the ground. Winning every job, working every weekend, and somehow still going backwards. He'd been there himself in the early years of running his own business.
The cause was almost always the same: a labour rate built on guesswork, markup confused with margin, and variations that never made it to the invoice. Nobody had ever taught him the maths. He had to learn the hard way.
TradieTally Academy is the course he wishes someone had handed him in his first year. The estimating system that took him 10 years of trial and error to lock in, packaged up so other sparkies can learn it over a weekend.
The team also built TradieTally, the estimating software that runs the same system. Use the Academy on its own. Use the app on its own. Training teaches the method. The app helps you use it.
What we believe
-
Practical beats theoretical
Every example, rate and template comes from real jobs. No academic case studies, no American frameworks, no fluff.
-
Built by sparkies, for sparkies
If it didn't survive a real workday, it didn't make it into the course. Same goes for the software.
-
Australian-specific
ABN, GST, AS/NZS, super, AU pricing realities. Built for Australian electrical businesses, not retrofitted from somewhere else.
-
Method first
The system is the method. The software is a tool that runs it. The method works either way.
The Academy + the App
TradieTally Academy and the TradieTally app are built and run by the same team. The training comes first; the software runs the method.
Once you've got the method, the app makes it 5-10× faster on every quote. But the Academy stands on its own. Plenty of sparkies learn the method and apply it inside a spreadsheet for years before switching.
Stop guessing your quotes. Start estimating for profit.
Start the trial, take the course, or do both. The maths doesn't change either way.
